There are connections from every direction for those arriving in their own car. From the East: Coming from Munich or Salzburg take the A 93 to Kufstein and then follow the A12 via Innsbruck to the Zirl exit. Here you can climb the relatively steep ‘Zirler Berg’ Mountain for approx. 12 km into the region. An alternative: do not leave the motorway in Zirl but rather continue to the Telfs Ost exit. Follow the signs to Mösern or Seefeld and you will arrive in the region after about 12 km.
From the West Coming from Vorarlberg cross the Arlberg Pass or take the Arlberg Tunnel (S16) via Landeck and then the A12 motorway to the Telfs exit. Follow the signs to Mösern or Seefeld and you will arrive in Olympiaregion Seefeld after about 12km.
From the North: Via Garmisch Partenkirchen you will come to Mittenwald and cross the former border. Then you are soon in Scharnitz, the gateway to Olympiaregion Seefeld (no motorway permit sticker required). The distance from Garmisch to Scharnitz is approx. 35 km.
From the South From the former border crossing ‘Brenner’ take the Brenner Motorway (A 13) and cross to the A12 at Innsbruck. Stay on this motorway until the Zirl exit. Here you can climb the relatively steep ‘Zirler Berg’ Mountain for approx. 12 km into the region. An alternative: do not leave the motorway in Zirl but rather continue to the Telfs Ost exit. Follow the signs to Mösern or Seefeld and you will arrive in the region after about 12 km.
Arrival by Bus or Rail
Any guests who prefer to arrive in simple comfort find a favourable alternative in the railways. There are good connections from Munich and from Innsbruck to Olympiaregion Seefeld.
